No incident has occurred, but I'm concerned that the design of a floor cutter could be prone to sudden catastrophic failure after prolonged use. Marshalltown 13-in Floor Cutter, Model #FS213-L The tool's hardened steel blade impacts against the "anvil," a narrow fin protruding from a cast or extruded aluminum part. I expressed concerns about this to the manufacturer, and they told me that the anvil is intended to deform over time with repeated pressure from the blade. My worry is that since the blade strikes the anvil so close to the edge (about one millimeter) the intended deformation of the aluminum could cause the edge to eventually split off, deflecting and shattering the blade. In my opinion the anvil should be wider to eliminate the risk of splitting. I plan to return the tool to the store because I feel it's unsafe.

The DCLA-0605 has a data port which accepts a micro usb connection; however, using a regular micro usb cable will result in the lithium battery exploding. Clockwise Tools does NOT specify nor provides a hazard warning on its enclosed user manual, packaging, or website product link https://clockwisetools.com/collections/clockwise-tools/products/clockwise-tools-dclr-0605-ip54-rs232-digital-caliper-6-inch. Clockwise Tools does mention it features RS232 data transfer with its DTCR-02 Data cable on the website product link, but no warning about not using a regular micro usb cable. The data transfer feature is also not specified in its user manual enclosed with the product.
Model TU_tp210 toilet plunger made by TULGIGS which uses CO2 cartridges: I have purchased this item three times. No unit has been able to discharge more than 8 CO2 cartridges before failing. Firing pin problems have been reported online but it could also be Probably a poorly designed switch, but whatever is the problem needs to be fixed. When the device fails, it becomes dangerous and potentially can harm anyone nearby. The CO2 cartridge in the chamber is live. Removing the end cap exposes the live cartridge, which can easily self-discharge if touched. An 8 gram cartridge can shoot 20+ feet across a room. A 15 gram cartridge will exceed that distance and with greater impact. You do not want to be looking into the device when that happens. I request the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). to ban the sale of this device until the manufacturer provides, and demonstrates, a safe method of removing a live cartridge.
My son was using his tape measure from the create to learn construction tool set. He was measuring an entertainment center we built to make sure it would fit in the area it was going the tape measure reeled in and sliced his index finger open and it required 6 stitches to close it.
Using a new tape measure, my hand was cut as if by a knife when retracting the steel tape into its case. The speed and force of the retraction caused the tape to coil and slice across my hand. A photo of my cut thumb is available. I returned the item to the store where I acquired it, Harbor Freight, and asked to exchange it for a safer model. All of the tape measures sold by Harbor Freight had tapes with knife edges. I left the tape measure with them without compensation. A tool store next door had several tape measures, all of which had polymer-coated tapes that did not present a hazard. I have used one of them without incident.
Metal edge is sharp and will cut a child
My son was playing with the build and grow measuring tape we got in the children's toolbox from Lowe's. He broke the thing open by dropping it on the floor. I didn't realize it was sharp thin metal inside because it looked like black plastic. So I was letting him try to fix it and wasn't paying too much attention to it. He then came up to me and wanted me to kiss his finger because he had hurt it. When looking at his finger I noticed two thin slices on it. I then realized it was metal in the measuring tape that had sliced his finger in 2 places and not plastic. The wounds were also black in color because of whatever was on the metal that gave it the black color. It wasn't bad enough to take him to a doctor but it was concerning enough for me to want to report the toy because it is meant for kids and should not contain thin sharp metal capable of slicing skin.

All of the tools (pliers, saw, screwdrivers, and opener) collapsed easily into the storage handle with ease, except for the knife blade. When the knife with the exposed blade would not collapse into the handle I could not find instructions to collapse the knife or protect myself from blade. Before attempting to use the screwdriver, I also referred to the website, and even[REDACTED] videos for this item how to collapse knife in CAT XL 9in1 Multi-Tool set I still could find no instructions to collapse blade or protect myself from blade. The package or information from the website, videos etc. did not say to only use one tool at a time, or to retract all other tools before using screwdriver. Z I proceeded to use the screwdriver holding the intended handle with the knife blade exposed. I assumed the screw driver would not move when using it for multiple reasons. A. because the knife blade wouldnt move. B. I assumed the screwdriver would lock in place like the knife did. C. The package and consumer information did not instruct me to collapse the knife, or that the screwdriver would collapse when used. As the screwdriver made contact w my screw in the wall, I attempted to turn the screw. Immediately, the screwdriver collapsed into the handle. Forcing my hand against the exposed knife blade. Resulting In the blade cutting my hand. After cutting my hand. I used a towel to control the bleeding. I used bandages to cover blade to keep from further injury. I then watched several unboxing [REDACTED] of CAT XL 9in1 Multi-Tool set in order to observe how they closed the blade.
