A bike trailer that my husband was using to pull our child in flipped and rolled upside down and my childs face/arms recieved bad road rash as a result of the seat that he was buckled into not holding him in the cart. This seat is able to move to allow the body of a child to be exposed to the road when flipped.

I have an ibert safe T bike seat designed for children. The seat is attached to a metal t base by a ring and clip, the clip being a cotter pin. While riding with my son the clip broke causing the pin to disengage and thus causing the seat to tumble off the bike. The whole seat is dependent upon the cotter pin for safety. This product is potentially very dangerous, as breaks like this will continue, again this is a bike carrier for a child, traffic is a concern if the child should fall off. I was using the product within all guidelines provided by the company.

MY CHILDREN GOT HURT What type of product(s) were being used? Weehoo SN: 12D02110246 Who was using the product(s)? I WAS How were the product(s) being used? USED AS INSTRUCTED Were there any injuries that happened or may have happened while using the product? SCRAPES AND BRUSES ON CHILDREN How did any injuries occur? RECALLED REPLACEMENT PART BROKE I have two trailers The serial numbers for the recalled trailers contain the letter "D" which is recalled. SN: 12D02110246 Recalled trailers contain the letter "D" SN: 12E08110890 Has the same parts and design of letter "D" and should be included in recall. This WILL fail the same way. Trailers 12D02110246 with recall repairs failed and resulted in injuries to my child!!! The recall repair parts (steel reinforcement sleeve) was installed and failed! The parts cracked and resulted in injury! I contacted Weehoo immediately (7/4/24) and they instructed me to purchase the following items to address the Weehoo safety recall (#11-323). Weehoo Quick Release Pin $13 Replacement push bar $150 Standard hitch kit $75 These parts should be supplied FREE as part of safety recall to address the problem. I informed Weehoo of the safety recall and as of 8/8/24 they have not provide resolution to the safety recall failure

GMG Yepp Maxi child carrier Bike Seat I recently purchased the GMG Yepp Maxi from Amazon.com. I purchased this seat because the Maximum weight advertised for the child is listed as 22kg/48lb. This Maximum weight limit is listed on the GMG Yepp website, Amazon product information, all other websites selling this product, including the cardboard box the seat is packaged in. This is not the case though, after opening the Yepp Maxi box, the installation pamphlet attached to the chair itself and the black/orange safety sticker adhered to the side of the leg protectors clearly states the Yepp Maxi seat is only rated for a maximum load of 18kg/40lb. That is an eight pound difference. For a child to gain eight pounds in early childhood can take some a year or more. If this seat is used regularly that highly increases the possibly rate of failure due to the child becoming heavier and the consumer under the impression the child still fits properly. I have reported this to Amazon.com and a second and third replacement Yepp seat was sent out to me. All of these seats have the same weights listed on them 22kg/48lb Max on the product's box and 18kg/40lb Max on the actual chair. I have since returned these seats and Amazon has their listing under review. I have also done extensive research on the web to find a possible 40lb Yepp Maxi seat for the case the packaging was mislabeled and they do not make/list a product as such. Additionally, I emailed the GMG Yepp contact us option on the Yepp website inquiring about this issue and have not received any response from them. I took pictures of this issue (screen-shot of Amazon's listing and MGM Yepp Maxi website listing, product's cardboard box, installation pamphlet, and safety sticker) with the contradicting information.

The wheel spokes on two tires on a carrier cart that carries children failed completely causing the trailer to tip and injure children. There are other customers that have reported similar problems and the company (Thule) is unresponsive in addressing the issue.

My husband was riding a bike with an Aosom Elite 2in1 Double Child Bike Trailer / Jogger attached to it. He was trying to cross a street when the trailer suddenly flipped over, just as he went over the curb. The curb was accessible for strollers, wheelchairs, and bikes, so this was very unexpected. My son, who is 2 years old, was wearing his seat belt and helmet, but he still sustained serious scrapes on his arms and hands. Some of the trailer mesh was damaged in the process.

I was pushing my daughter during a slow jog and the carriage made a noise as if the wheel was struggling. Then the wheel popped off causing the entire carriage to fall forward with my daughter landing on the street. I landed on top of the carriage and on top of my daughter. we were both injured with cuts on our legs. A similar incident happened a couple of years back where my daughter injured her head as she fell forward out of stroller and hit head on pavement.
