[REDACTED] Here's a link to my FaceBook album that describes in detail why I am filing this report. But to summarize: I ordered TV antenna model CM-4228HD from ChannelMaster.com. The two right angled metal cross member braces on the antenna are so sharp that I sliced the middle finger of my left hand just handling the antenna right after sliding it out of the box. Those braces are so sharp that I didn't even feel the cut. It was only after I noticed a lot of blood dripping on the floor that I looked down and realized that I had severely cut myself. I sent an email notification to Channel Master as well as checking customer reviews of this antenna on their web site. Only one reviewer mentioned this cutting danger. His review was dated January 2014. So Channel Master has been aware of this danger for more than a year and a half and they've done nothing about it. As a matter of fact on page 3 of their product manual it says "..every piece is smooth and machined to ensure a safe, trouble-free installation.."
The consumer indicates that the screws that came with the antennae are too small thus they do not hold things in place, and the wires are very sharp. The consumer notes that he received multiple small cuts to his hand when he assembled the unit; the antennae is inside his home as opposed to outside because it would not work where it was intended to. Holes in reflector are too large cannot be mounted outside! The consumer has reported the issue to the seller multiple times however they never admit the problem thus they have never assisted him. They just order from another supplier The consumer plans on keeping his antenna for at least the next thirty days in case an investigation ensues.
