I purchased a Besta TV stand from Ikea in early 2015, assembled it according to the packaged instructions, put an appropriately sized TV on it and have been using it without worry ever since. The TV stand is sturdy wood construction with a glass plate on top. At 11:30pm last night, I heard a loud crash, got out of bed and went downstairs to investigate. The glass topper had spontaneously and violently shattered, throwing shards of glass in a five foot radius around the TV stand! There had been no signs of damage when I installed this item, nor had the glass sustained any damage after installation. There is absolutely no reason the glass should have shattered like this. There were no injuries, but only because nobody was in the room when this incident occurred. If my six year old daughter had been awake, chances are she would have been badly injured because we spend much of our family and play time in the room where this furniture is located. I did my best to clean up, but after vacuuming several times, I am still coming across random shards of glass in my living room carpet. We will be wearing shoes in the living room until I am confident all the glass is gone. I picked glass out of my daughter's toys and found some on the couch across the room from the TV as well.

A couple of years ago we purchased FITUEYES Universal tv Stand with Mount Two Shelves for 32inch to 65inch [REDACTED] Mount [REDACTED] through [REDACTED]. On 8/27/2019 without any warning the glass base exploded! I was sitting three feet from it at the time and fortunately I was not injured. My wife was on the phone with a friend at the time and the explosion was so loud her friend thought it was a gunshot. The screen on the [REDACTED] TV mounted on the stand cracked when it fell. This is a dangerous product and presents a safety hazard, especially to small children who may be around the TV stand. I found others online who had the same experience.

This is about our 3 tiered Bell O tv stand. The top tier of tempered glass shattered out of nowhere. There was no movement in the room as I was feeding my 7 month old daughter. The glass basically exploded into thousands of pieces, covering my living room floor. This is the main space where my daughter plays, so it took a great deal of cleanup as one can imagine. There was no reason for this to happen and I am very upset and concerned about the safety of this product.

When my family moved into our current home in March 2019, we purchased a new tv wall mount (as listed on product itself: company Shaghal Ltd, model ONA16TM011E, manufacture date April 2017. Only warning labeled is to not install a Tv over recommended weight. I think it was purchased from Walmart). It was installed by an amateur, but an informed, experienced one and the product has every appearance of being designed for amateur installation. All installation instructions were followed. It is labeled as able to hold TV's weighing 66 lbs. Mine weighs in the mid 20s. The wall mount functioned well for 5 months. Last Tuesday, without warning and with no seeable cause, the screws holding the wall mount ripped out, sending the tv crashing to the floor. Moments before it happened, my youngest 2 children (1 and newly 4) had been seated on the floor playing where it fell, as it fell into the middle of my living room. In particular, my 1 year old had been seated for an extended period of time exactly where the force of the tv crashed down and only moved perhaps 60 seconds before it fell. Due to her age, she would likely have not moved out of the way in time and obviously would be vulnerable to a much more serious injury than an older person. I don't think saying it might have killed her is an exaggeration, and obviously it could injure even an adult, especially if a larger tv had been mounted at a higher level. I contacted the company through email to alert them to this danger and was simply told that my product could not be replaced for free as it was outside the warranty leading me to believe they have no concerns about the safety of this product. This is not my primary concern, but for what it's worth, my wall was decently damaged during this.

As I was sitting in my living room watching TV around 8:30pm on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, the glass the TV was sitting on shattered for unexplained reason. I bought the TV and stand together at Best Buy on February 13, 2010 as a set. The top shelf of the TV stand was recommended for the size of TV I was buying as the stand can hold up to 300lbs. I have been using the TV stand with the same TV since the day it was bought with no issues. The TV stand has not ever been used for anything else, or misused in anyway. When the glass randomly shattered, it flew across my living room, into my dining and kitchen area, as well as at myself as I was sitting on the couch about 5ft from it. The TV proceeded to fall forward onto my hardwood floors, which have suffered damage, and my TV no longer works. The two glass shelves below were also damaged. This could have been deadly had one of my kids, grandkids, myself, pets, or anyone else have been near the TV or in front of the TV on the floor. The TV stand manufacturer is init, the model is NT-C1140. This TV stand is still being sold. I feel this is a potential hazard to other consumers, especially for small children, pets, and anyone in general. My [REDACTED] TV only weighs 62.8lbs, so there is definitely not a weight issue and the TV was the only item sitting on the top shelf. I have my original receipt of purchase from Best Buy, this was the recommended TV stand for the TV I purchased. I also have several pictures of the incident immediately after this happening. I have saved the shattered glass, the TV stand frame, and the TV that does not work anymore. What I am asking is that I be reimbursed for replacement cost and for damages to my wood floors. I will submit a claim directly with the manufacturer as well. I have already talked to a store manager at Best Buy on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 and they were not willing to assist in any way. I feel this product should be removed and recalled.

The stand of my Haier's 42 inches TV was broken when I accidentally touch the TV. I thought I pushed it over but I was unable to make it stand again. Then, I realized the stand was broken. I did not get hurt. When I checked Haier's web site for availability of the stand, I noticed the recall. I registered immediately. I been checking the progress and always get the message that the replacement will be shipped in 3 to 5 weeks after the registration. However, after 7 weeks, the replacement hasn't arrived yet.

On Sunday, August 14th, my husband and I were in a twilight sleep and were awakened by a loud noise. After investigating, we found that our TV stand shattered into a thousand pieces. There are three tiers of glass and the one that shattered was the top one that had the TV and sound bar on it. The instructions that we still have says that the top shelf holds 120 pounds and there was no where near that on it. The top piece of glass is thicker then the other two. I have a bag of glass to prove that we installed the top shelf with the correct piece. We bought this TV stand from HH Gregg on January 2, 2016 for $319.49. Thank God that our TV wasn't damaged. The only thing that did get damaged were two HDMI cables that was $53.47. On Monday, August 15th, my husband and I stopped at HH Gregg on Colerain Ave. in Cincinnati, Ohio and showed them the pictures and receipt. All they told us was that they were sorry and that we have to contact the manufacturer, Tech Craft, because it is over 30 days. I felt like saying that we did not buy the TV stand from the manufacturer, but I didn't. On Tuesday, August 16th, I called Tech Craft at 1-800-661-7030 and all I got was a voice mail. I did not leave a message. I decided to email them instead along with pictures and receipt of sale. I did not have the receipt at the time for the HDMI cables. On August 16th, I received an automated reply saying that they have received my email and will normally process it within 2 business days. As of today, August 28th, I have not heard from them. I have found 5 other cases of the same thing and just two this year. This is a serious issue and dangerous. This company should be recalling all of their TV stands before someone get's seriously injured or killed. I am afraid that a child or animal will get seriously injured. This glass shattered with such force that some glass stuck on the wall and blew off a large candle along with other items on the lower shelves. I would
