[REDACTED] in Las Vegas, used Scent Air's 'Lemon Clean' air freshener in their HVAC system. The introduction of this product into the entire premises engulfs the public with chemical ingredients that Scent Air failed to disclose to the public when they promote this on their website. Scent Air's MSDS contradicts what their e-commerce store and website state. They failed to warn the public of Category 1 to 2B skin irritants/sensitizers, [category 1 is most harmful out of a 4 rating scale], claimed that the product had no respiratory allergens, but does have respiratory irritants. Deceptive to convince the public that its 'safe'. Claimed not to have any carcinogens in it [according to website] yet, on their MSDS it lists an ingredient as a carcinogen according to CA Prop 65, also claimed no carcinogen according to OSHS, IARC, National Toxicology Program which these federal agencies are noted on other MSDS. Scent Air's MSDS doesn't state what other independent MSDS for the chemical make up of their product ( based on Scent Air's disclose of the CAS No., for each chemical) such as: known/suspected endocrine disruptor, reproductive toxicity, mutagenic effects, major eye damage. Its been three weeks and vision hasn't abated. Website offers the ability to obtain a copy of their MSDS, a member of the general public requested one and one of Scent Air's client requested and they haven't provided them. On August 31st, a Research Physician requested proof of safety and Scent AIr has failed to respond to said request. They want the money but not wanting to prove that their product is safe as they assert on their e-commerce store.

Consumer Relations Department Reckitt Benckiser LLC Parsippany, NJ 07054 Subject: Product Complaint Air Wick Air Freshener Causing Vehicle Damage Dear Consumer Relations, I am writing to formally report damage caused by one of your Air Wick products and to request compensation for the resulting loss. On 9/1/25, I accidentally spilled some Air Wick LAVENDER on the center console of my 2015 [REDACTED]. I immediately wiped it up, but by the following day the consoles finish had bubbled and peeled, as if a paint remover had been applied. The liquid clearly acted as a solvent, damaging the vehicles interior permanently. Details of the incident: Product name & fragrance: AIR WICK LAVENDER Lot number/expiration date (from packaging): SEE PHOTO Date of purchase: 05/25 Location of purchase: PUBLIX DELRAY BEACH, FL Description of damage: The SPILLED air freshener dissolved the finish on my vehicles console, leaving bubbled and discolored areas. I AM CONCERNED ABOUT INHALING SUCH, MY PHYSICIAN IS CONCERNED AS WELL Vehicle involved: 2015 [REDACTED], black interior. I am attaching photographs documenting the damage. Given the nature of this damage and the fact that it occurred under normal consumer use, I believe the product poses a material hazard to property. I respectfully request reimbursement for the cost of repairs or a reasonable settlement to cover the damage to my vehicle.

Sinuses, throat and eyes became irritated after inhaling product.

We had a Febreeze Plug In cause a fire at [REDACTED] that caused extensive damage to the kitchen area of the house.

Febreze aerosol fragrance makes me have asthma. I cannot breathe when exposed to the product and long after the product is used - the scent remained in the elevator and lobby of my building hours after used. I asked the maintenance man and he told me he is using an air freshener and then showed me the can of Febreze Odor-Fighting Air Freshener - Linen & Sky. I asked him to stop using it because it causes me to have an asthma attack and I cannot breathe.

Consumer stated that she used the room spray and approximately 2-3 mins later she developed a severe headache and her vision became impaired which lasted for an hour. Consumer left the house so she would not have to breathe the toxins from the spray. The symptoms dissipated later on. This is the second incident she has had in two months, but the first time was not has severe. Consumer is concerned that she developed neurologic reaction from the room spray and this hazard can affect children and elderly persons. 8/3/11 Consumer contacted the manufacturer so she could file a report but was not able to do. Consumer feels that this product is a health hazard and should be investigated.

(02/26/2019) The consumer has a safety concern about the product because she stated that it is too strong. The consumer sprayed the product in some of the rooms on her home after cooking fish. She noticed that the product was very strong. Right after using the product, she started coughing. The consumer stated that her nose, mouth and throat were burning and she continued to cough the next day, 2/27. (2/27)The consumer called Poison Control. She also went to the emergency room, was treated and released. (2/27)The consumer contacted the firm and was advised that the odor should dissipate. The consumer was also advised that someone from Risk Management would call her back but no did. The consumer stated that she made a call back to the firm and a report was taken. The consumer stated that she now has respiratory issues and have been to the emergency room five times since the incident. .

I sprayed febreze AIR just as I always had but this time it fell to the floor making it very slippery and I fell and was injured. I feel there should be warnings on the label
